Our mission is to enable Scandinavian scientists and entrepreneurs to build the companies that solve the world’s most important problems.
Dr. Masoud Khayyami received his PhD in Pure applied biochemistry from the University of Lund and he has successfully been investing in operating and growing early-mid stage Scandinavian Life Science companies since 2011.
To date, Dr. Khayyami has successfully taken four companies, Spectracure, Prolight Diagnostics, Lumito and Gasporox from early scientific stage to develop commercial products and list the companies at the stock market. In 2018 Dr. Khayyami founded Cardeon, a venture platform, that put scientists together with experienced entrepreneurs and capital, to turn local innovations into global impact, Scandinavian concepts into international companies. Since then, MK Capital has served as Dr. Khayyamis private holding company and through Cardeon the active work has been done with the portfolio companies.
